So yesterday was Independence Day! Happy Birthday America!
I am very proud to be an American even with all the “various” things that are going on right now with the media and such. I’m holding on hard to the the core elements of what makes America a great country to live in. Opportunity, freedom, freedom of thought, democracy, and our constitutional rights, just to name a few.
Not to mention America has been home to my family for more than 20 years. America has given my family a chance to get an education and jobs to work for what we want in life.
America is still valuable and we the citizens who make up this beautiful country make it valuable.
There’s my 4 cents for the day.
Changing the subject to what I did to celebrate.
We didn’t do anything fancy, just a small family gathering with the cousins and aunts and uncles. We ate some home made Vietnamese food, the grown-ups sang karaoke on the iPad, and the children grouped together to catch up on relevant events. Nice and simple.
The point is, we had a lot of fun.
I hope you guys also had a fun 4th! Comment down below if you did anything interesting with your family!
